The "Nnewbie" and Working For Your Business! By David James Boozer The recession has cut back hours for some in their job. For some, it has taken away their job completely. Before I begin this article I would like to say something to those who have lost their jobs completely...the cup is half full. Again, THE CUP IS HALF FULL. Recently I read about a few businesses that had been started during horrible economic times, companies like Disney, Microsoft, and Hewlett Packard. Do any of these sound familiar? We have all spent time working hard at our jobs and careers, an online business is no different. It is hard work, the difference is, is that you are now working for you! There are only two ways to market yourself online. 1. You pay for it. OR, 2. You WORK for it. Let me show you a couple ways to work for it. Some of us who have already begun working online know that new skills had to be learned, it was a fact. The first thing we had learned was the fact, and we thought this to be magical, that we can market our businesses for free! Really? There are truly free things in this world? Yes. It is part of what is called a learning curve in the online or home based business. You will need to roll up your sleeves and spend more time, but it is almost inevitable that your work will pay off. I heard once, and I quote. " You do something long enough, you begin to see a ratio appear." -Jim Rohn-So what are two simple ways to help get you to that ratio? Free Ads. Free placement ads online are going to bring even the seasoned marketer back. With the jobs situation today, many are looking for something and they will be hitting the ads. You as the newbie can offer that something, you can offer them the life you are beginning to live. Through free advertisement sights we are able to offer this to any country, any economy, any person who sees that the cup is half full. There are many places to start like: Stumblehere, Integiant, USfreeads. Just remember, people right now are hurting, feeling out of place being out of work, keep that in mind with the words in your ads. We as online marketers and online business owners understand that the workforce will soon be here, online, and the thing we had to do was to simply learn simple new skills. Share that with them in your ad! It was pretty simple to learn after all was it not? Article Writing. Article writing I am finding is not only a great way of branding ones self for no cost, but is a wonderful outlet for whatever it is that is on your mind. Many of us have so much to say, but nobody to listen. Here online? We have the world. You can write about anything you ever wanted to talk about, share your view on subjects you always wanted to share with others...a way to share your life, and your experiences in it. You can also brand yourself and your business(s) through this wonderful medium at the same time. Follow the rules though. Always read the rules of the ezine you are publishing in because you do not want to spit in the face of those who make you money. You can share in an article the ins and outs you have faced in your journey of your busines, and through that, draw other to your business or website. The honesty and compassion you denote in your words can be felt when one reads them. You can help them to look for the obstacles that had ensnared you, and how you overcame it. To the NEWBIE. There is hard work involved when you come into your own online business(s), do not fool yourself. You have to understand that you are learning new skills, and these are free lessons as well. These skills are patience, perseverance, determination and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Remember, you are not working for someone elses dream, you are working for your own!
